Freedom Hostel - Cairo

The location of Freedom Hostel was fantastic, right in the heart of the city centre. I loved being close to museums, metro stations, and plenty of shops and restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The value for money was unbeatable, making it a great choice for budget travelers like myself. I highly recommend this hostel for its great location, helpful staff, and excellent facilities.

You can easily walk to all the main attractions in the city. The staff were incredibly attentive and went out of their way to make sure I had a great stay. They were helpful in organizing tours and providing guidance. The basic amenities in the rooms were sufficient, and I appreciated the addition of three small lockers for added security. The private bathroom was a nice touch, even though there wasn't much of a view to mention. Lastly, the breakfast provided was simple but satisfying.

They are always ready to help, whether it's with making dinner reservations or giving directions to local shops. Secondly, the location is superb. Situated right in the center of Cairo, this hotel is within walking distance of all the main tourist attractions. It's so convenient! Lastly, the rooms are lovely. I particularly enjoyed the hot showers with lots of pressure. It's the perfect way to relax after a long day of exploring the city.

The staff is super helpful and kind. The place is clean, with daily cleaning service. Good location, near subway and Egyptian museum. Great atmosphere, easy to make friends. Highly recommended.

Easter break was fun, the first high-five was getting complimentary chocolates upon check-in. The second was being offered a free city tour by a staff member, which was great. The location was ace, just a hop, skip and a jump from downtown, which was perfect for exploring. Plus, there was a really cool rooftop terrace where we could relax and enjoy the city view. Loved it!

But, there were a few things that definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. the WiFi was slower than a snail on a Sunday.

Breakfast is satisfying and there are plenty of leisure facilities on offer, including a cozy common area and a rooftop terrace, perfect for enjoying the stunning city view.

The noise level from the nearby street can be bothersome at times. the staff provides earplugs in the room to minimize any disruption.

Great location near metro and close to everything. Super friendly staff with helpful tips. Cleanliness is notable. Delicious breakfast served.
